Although only a block away from I-65, our house is snuggled in a quiet dead-end street with a walking/biking trail and park directly in the back.
Whether enjoying a beautiful sunrise on our 2nd floor balcony overlooking the park, relaxing in the heart-shaped jacuzzi or steam shower, taking a sip of tea at sunset on our front porch in the company of blooming irises and peony or a bite to eat in our private back yard surrounded by our fruit barring raspberry, blueberry, fig and grape plants, our piece of heaven is the best available rental at the moment so close to all the Derby action. After the end of Derby instead of waiting for hours stuck in traffic with thousands of others, you take a refreshing walk and be back at the house in less than an hour – which is conveniently located only 2.6 miles away.
The house is available for the entire Kentucky Derby week.

-3 bedrooms & 2 family rooms – the 1st with a queen pull out couch that has a closet, separate exit to backyard, and can be turned into an extra bedroom if needed, and the 2nd in the basement with the white corner sectional and smart TV – also has a closet and can be turned into an extra bedroom:
Two of the bedrooms are upstairs with a King tempur-pedic in one, a queen and two twin (bunk) beds in the other, and 1 in finished basement – 1 double bed
TOTAL NUMBER OF BEDS:
6 plus sectional that can be turned into an extra bed (1 king, 2 queen, 1 double and 2 twin, plus a queen inflatable mattress available upon request)
-3 full bathrooms – jacuzzi and shower combination with a stackable Samsung steam washer and dryer upstairs, shower on main floor, and steam shower, separate washer and dryer in basement
Other rooms besides bedrooms: foyer with a large wardrobe and several shoe cabinets, office, kitchen, dining room with a piano, video-tv room. It has two separate AC-Heat Pump-Furnace units for down and upstairs and a water filtration system using N A S A technology that removes any and all additives or contaminants of water and would even clean chemically polluted water. The result is tasty, pure water that is soft to the touch.
This is the only house on the entire street with a 2-car paved driveway. There is additional street parking in front and behind house. RV can be parked in parking area in park behind house (no RV hook-ups)
If your travel arrangements require different times, we are flexible.
We would only accept responsible renters who would take care of our house and furniture as if it were their own.
